IM BACK

I have seriously bitten by 'lazy' bugs, 'moderate lazy' bugs and 'extremely lazy' bugs but i manage to 'recover' from these 'biting' wound and blog again after M.I.A for over 3 months. I guess no one will notice about that anyway. =.=

Well, i'll start out my 1st post in 3 months with a short entry about my latest outings - gathering with my friends at genting earlier this month.

We reach genting around 2pm. Aftter check in, we went to Theme Park but found out that ticket for the park is half price after 7pm so we decided to go for the half price ticket due to recession =.=

While waiting the clock to struck 7, the girls went shopping, the guys went and play with the 'stick'...

Finally we're in the Theme Park. We did not play much but we did take lots of photo or someone did take lots of photo. Us inside the double decker bus.

We stayed until the Theme Park closed, it was fun and tiring. We went to Oldtown (can't escape Oldtown even at genting) for dinner since it's just opposite the exit of Theme Park.

Next day, we check out from the hotel and pay a visit to the temple at genting before we head back to KL. I can't remember what is the name of temple =.=

That was our short short short genting trip.

A visit to Dong Zhen Temple

2 Days before Chap Goh Meh aka Latern Festival, me and my friends pay a visit to Dong Zhen Temple, Jenjarom.

It was my 1st visit and it does not disappoint me at all. We reach there around 6pm and already have certain amount of people crowded the place. We parked at the road side near the flower garden with a big cow represents the year of Ox in the middle of the garden. There were also 11 others animal from the chinese zodiac.

Surely cant miss the chance to take photo with my own zodiac sign.

We then walk to a place where there's 33 Guan Yin statue along the road side.

We donate money and get these coins and use it to make a wish in front of Guan Yin.

We have to choose one of the 33 Guan Yin statue that each represent something meaningful.

I choose to make a wish in front of a thousand hand Guan Yin that related to business, said my friend.

After that, we throw the coin up to a tree to complete the wishing cycle with me posing in front of the tree. -_-|||

People were trying hard to get their coins up to the tree.

The area was well take care and decorate prior to chinese new year.

Farewell

Last friday, my colleague throw a farewell party for me at Redbox, Gardens. 2 of my ex-colleague even come and join the sing-k session

It was a crazy night, we sang from 7pm until 12am. Can you imagine singing for 5 hours? Well, is my 1st time singing for 5 hours la. Almost all of us lost our voices.

KY's How to cook curry chicken

I spend my weekend at my hometown and since there was nothing much to do, i decide to cook a curry chicken using a pressure cooker from amway that my mum bought not long ago.

The steps are simple so there ain't much problem in making the dish.

So what do we need?

Chicken of course, =_=.

One curry powder premix.

Potatoes and lady finger.

After everything is ready, is time to cook the curry chicken.

1st of all, mix the curry powder with water.

Then put some cooking oil into the pressure cooker and stir fry the curry powder that mixed with water.

After awhile when the aroma comes out, just put the rest of the ingredients into the pressure cooker.

Set the timer to 10 minutes.

Curry chicken ready to be serve. Yummy~~

p/s : Try leave the lady finger out because the lady finger turn out to be too soft. Or don't put it in together with the potatoes.

How i spend my holidays

During these 3 days holidays, my major activity was gathering. Two of my university buddies came to town so i went out to meet them. One came from penang and the other one came from singapore.

I had 2 gathering with these 2 friends in the same day but different place and time.

I had an early sunday morning football game gathering with Choo teong who came from penang and we were joined by ah dong, one of choo teong friends. Since we all love football and there's a big game between Barcelona and Valencia at 5am, so i ask choo teong to watch football. It was good game, watching Barcelona beat Valencia 4-0, XD. Fyi, Barcelona is my favaurite team in spanish leauge.

Later at 11.30am, i went to One Utama to meet my other buddy that came from singapore. His name was kim seng. Then we were joined by our other university buddy, choon siang.

Movies was one of our event and "Body Of Lies" was our choice. I like this movie, at least is better than Transporter 3. Why i'm comparing these 2 movies? Because these are the recent movies that i watch within a week, XD. Since i'm lazy to describe what kind of movie is this, your all can go either GSC or TGV to check out the synopsis.

After the movie, choon siang got an apointment so leave behind me and kim seng. Both of us shop a while and snap some photo with kim seng new toy. Then we went to Pasta Zanmai to have lunch, snap some photo as well. Photos will be uploaded in the upcoming post after i get them from kim seng, haha...

After we graduated, we really did not have much chance to gather together. It was great meeting them. We should do it again in the future. Take care buddies and all the best.

A visit to Zoo Negara

On 29th of Sept, me, gf, angel and cliff went for a short trip to zoo negara. Gf said that she never been to zoo negara before so i was eager to go with her and finally the day finally come...

Me and gf went to setapak to take angel and cliff 1st, then after having our Branch, we only leave for zoo negara. When we reach zoo negara is already noon and is kinda hot but with our exited feeling, who care about the weather.

Right after the entrance, we saw Giraffe and elephants on our left hand side.

Surely we have to take pictures with the Giraffe and elephants...Basically, gf had taken almost all the animals picture in the zoo, you name it she got it.

Zoo Negara basically is a huge circle with lots of animals to see of course. I haven't see a real animals for a long time except for dogs and cats which i see everyday, haha... I used to see giraffe, elephants, lion , tiger , etc in tv but now i get to see them closely. Honestly, i was a bit amazed especially when i saw the huge figure of giraffe and elephants.
